It’s officially the festive season! With the arrival of December, Christmas is fast approaching, and many of us are beginning to think about thoughtful gifts for friends, family, and loved ones. This time of year offers a beautiful opportunity to show appreciation for the people who support us, who uplift us, and who have walked alongside us through another busy year. A small token of gratitude can go a long way in reminding someone that they’re seen, valued, and cared for.
But at the same time, the festive season isn’t always as light and sparkly as the adverts suggest. Many people feel increased pressure around this time of year - financial strain, busy schedules, old family dynamics resurfacing, or simply the heaviness that can arise at the close of a long year. If you’re feeling any of these things, please know you’re not alone. The holidays can be emotionally complex, and it’s absolutely okay to approach them gently, with compassion for yourself and others.
A Less Material Christmas: More Meaning, Less Pressure
Over the years, I’ve found myself drawn more toward gifts that support wellbeing, rather than contribute to the pressure of consumerism. Gifts that nourish, soothe, comfort, and inspire. Gifts that encourage rest or self-care. Gifts that genuinely enrich someone’s life, even in the smallest way.
That’s the intention behind this Christmas Gift Guide.
You won’t find a huge list of flashy items or trendy products. Instead, I’m sharing a curated selection of wellbeing gifts - beautiful, mindful pieces that I personally use, love, and wholeheartedly recommend. Many of these are from small or ethical brands whose values align with yoga, connection, and conscious living. Some links included are affiliate links, which means I receive a small commission if you make a purchase. It doesn’t cost you anything extra, and in some cases even provides a helpful discount.
Wellbeing Gifts From Brands I Love
Myga Yoga
(10% off with code: sarahlokeryoga10)

Myga Yoga have been a firm favourite of mine for years - they’re vibrant, eco-conscious, and their products genuinely feel joyful to use. Whether your loved one is new to yoga or a seasoned practitioner, Myga have a beautiful range of gifts that support movement, mindfulness, and self-connection.
Vegan Suede Yoga Mats (my top pick!) I love their vegan suede mats. They’re soft yet grippy, beautifully designed, and incredibly supportive for both dynamic and gentle practices. I use mine every time I teach. They also make lovely gifts for anyone hoping to refresh their practice or start a new one in the New Year.

Incense, Wellness Tools & Chakra-Themed Gifts
Myga also offer wonderful little wellbeing treats - perfect for stocking fillers or small tokens of appreciation:
These are the kinds of items that help create a peaceful home sanctuary, ideal for anyone who needs a little extra grounding this festive season.
VetYogi
VetYogi is such a unique and heartfelt brand - created by a veterinary professional and yogi, with a focus on natural, mindful wellbeing. Their products blend quality, intention, and soothing scents that support both body and mind.

Their yoga mats and blocks are sturdy, supportive, and beautifully designed - perfect for anyone who appreciates a grounded, reliable prop for their practice. They’ve quickly become some of my go-to recommendations for students building a home yoga space.
Aromatherapy Candles (divine!)
These candles are honestly heavenly. The scents are rich, calming, and create a beautiful ambience - ideal for winding down after a long day. I love using mine during a long bubble bath, or to open up a cozy yoga ritual on a slower evening. They make an especially thoughtful gift for someone who needs encouragement to carve out time for themselves.

I use these often in my yoga classes, especially during relaxation or breathwork. They’re such a simple but powerful way to ignite the senses and ease tension in the body and mind. My personal favourites are:
Calm / Yin Blend – deeply soothing, perfect for stress or sleepless nights
Balance / Hatha Blend – grounding and centering, ideal for daytime use or steady practice
Neal’s Yard Remedies

A true classic in natural wellbeing, Neal’s Yard Remedies offer gorgeous organic products that feel luxurious while still being gentle and holistic. Their range is broad, and honestly, I’ve yet to try a product I didn’t enjoy.
Their essential oils are high-quality and beautifully aromatic - perfect for diffusers, baths, or simply for creating a sense of calm at home. There’s something for every mood: uplifting citrus, grounding earthiness, or soothing florals.
One of my absolute favourites. This collection is designed to support female hormone health, promote balance, and ease emotional tension. The blends are comforting, nurturing, and make thoughtful gifts for women going through transitional phases or simply needing more self-support.
These make lovely everyday wellbeing treats - with scents that uplift, relax, or restore. Beautiful as small gifts or part of a larger self-care set.
Loved by all of my family to soothe dry winter hands, these hand creams smell fantastic and offer lasting hydration without feeling greasy.

Bath Salts for Muscle Relief
Their bath salts are a must for anyone who carries physical tension (which, let’s be honest, is most of us by December!). They soothe tired muscles and help promote deep rest - perfect after a long day or a challenging yoga practice.
A gentle spritz on your pillow before bed can make all the difference in calming the mind. It’s one of those gifts people might not buy for themselves, but absolutely adore once they try it.
Yogamatters
Yogamatters is another brand whose values resonate deeply with me - quality, comfort, and a focus on supporting yoga and wellbeing in everyday life. I’ve found their clothing and props to be reliable, beautiful, and wonderfully giftable.
The yoga clothing from Yogamatters is soft, breathable, and designed for real movement - perfect whether you’re flowing through a Vinyasa, holding a seated meditation, or lounging at home. Their trousers/pants feel comfortable and grounding. A great idea for anyone building their yoga wardrobe or starting a home practice.

Their bolsters are beautiful quality - sturdy, supportive, and perfect for restorative practices, yin yoga, or gentle stretching. If you know someone who loves slower practices, deep stretching, or simply needs extra comfort and support, a bolster makes a wonderful gift.
Wrapping Up With Intention
Gifting at Christmas doesn’t have to be overwhelming or over the top. When we choose gifts that nurture wellbeing - gifts that bring comfort, calm, or clarity - we’re offering something far more meaningful than a material item. We’re offering rest. We’re offering care. We’re offering a reminder to slow down.
I hope this guide inspires you to choose with intention this festive season, whether you’re treating someone special or giving yourself the gift of care.
